On Friday evening and all day Saturday (20th & 21st October 2017), the Rhondda Amateur Radio Society will be assisting the 1st Tonypandy Scouts Group with Jamboree on the Air. Members of the scouts and the public can come along and make contact with other JOTA stations around the UK (and the world if conditions are right!)
Participants can learn about the benefits of Amateur Radio, some of the technical aspects of the hobby and most importantly, how Amateur Radio can be used in situations where contact with the rest of the world would be otherwise impossible!!
